Semiotics of the Minimal
Semiotics of the Minimal: the Psychical and Symbolic Bodies of Post-minimalism from Hesse to Whiteread
This is the website I created to document a presentation I gave in a module at the University of Leeds. The project was to create a "virtual feminist exhibition." I focused on assembling a list of artists centered around a feminist-postminimalist reaction to minimalism (as well as a response to the depersonalized Marxist theory of the 1960s). The website is two fold, there are the powerpoint slides I used in the oral presentation, as well as a copy of the text I read.
